Water, water, everywhere - and no gardening!

The weather is wet, wet, wet with torrential rain and thunderstorms yesterday. Andrea managed to get these pictures in between showers yesterday - she's trying out her new camera - far too complicated for me! The orange lillies have been in a pot for approx 6 years, I popped the pot into a gap in the rockery to brighten it up. The blue geranium is very pretty, and I've planted three more for next year. My left hand curved border is filling out, but still needs more plants. The pink patio rose is looking very good this year

It seems that now matter what we do in a garden bed. We can always do more.

Things are looking good. No spaces that I see. I notice you have huge cedar (?) hedges there. We have them on both sides of the front and do we hate them. The annual trim is ghastly and they seem to suck everything out of the soil nearby as well as cast deeps shade on one side. We have an east to west lot, sun in the front garden in the afternoon. We have only small beds against them, lawn mainly for the rest.
We have had a lot of rain too and cold too.
