- Pottering about in my small garden in the North East of England at the top of a hill, often in the wind and the rain, occasionally in the sunshine! Surrounded by high conifer hedge and mature trees on one side. Garden slopes upwards, so we made a dry stone wall on two levels at the back of the garden which we're still adding plants to as funds allow. I like evergreen shrubs and any type of flowers - I don't grow any veg and am obsessed with keeping my lawn edges 'neat'. I like walking where I can see ducks, wild flowers and interesting foliage

Hi Mary,
Glad you enjoyed your trip. We stayed at Riva del Garda once for a few days. I remember it being full of Germans. I love Lago di Garda and we've been several times since but not back to Riva del Garda.
